Cacao & Sound Circle

I came to circle on Friday with no intentions, just a need to be amongst nurturing female energy. And I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful group of women. The word community came up during the circle, and as I listened to all these powerful women expressing their fears, experiences and vulnerabilities with open hearts, tears and laughter I felt so incredibly honoured to be a part of that sharing. The outpouring of love and support from everyone there was magical and humbling. It really allowed me to embody how we are really not alone and how incredibly important it is to build and foster that community of support with each other on our journeys, even as the system wants to separate us and keep us small. I feel lots of grief and sadness today as I clear away those stories, but I don’t feel small. I feel empowered and held and supported. Thank you beautiful Lucia for holding that space and allowing us to be our ‘too much’ selves.
